Right here.

Perceive me then, for it is what I am meant for. Look at me, and see the good and bad within, both at the same time. Perceive me, forever and before that time, with eyes seeing, or blind. Perceive the flaws and the good bits alike, I fear not your judgement, for you read minds not in this lifetime.

There Is a Piece of My Soul Somewhere in The Universe

Droplet of Honesty

Here I am, distributing little droplets of honesty.
Where I decided I do not like to lie or bend the truth and I wish I could tell you those things that I know I should not; because we are not close, not like that. But I’m a yearner and I remain so – forever, and probably more. Longer, for the longest time, I’ll keep on craving just a bit more than I can get. More than you can give – and it’s no fault of yours. Or mine. Perchance no fault at all, just the way things are.

The Widow and the Web

Household ceilings, corners frayed,

Mold of green and webs of grey,

A creature so small waits with grace,

Spinning dreams of faded days.

There Is a Piece of My Soul Somewhere in The Universe

I don’t believe in love, not quite, not at all. Despite this, I know I must have loved someone, or something, at some point in this life. Or maybe I never did. Is there really a way to tell? There cannot be, and if there was, I do believe it would not matter if love was true, or love was not.

I don’t always believe in things that I know to be true, but then again, what do I know – knowledge evades me as water does oil. I could look at something and see it and yet it still would not exist. Or not cease to exist.

My Skin Bleeds Decay

 I fear in my soul
I am nothing but tragedy
Left to fight to fill a void
In my own chest
Poked by my own sword.

But the Lock is Broken

 My skin is bruised

 Like cherry-blossom petals;
And I've been taught to fear
To enjoy living in my cage
To rhyme in my words
Or it won't be art on the page.

Aurora

Purple lights decorate pale white skies,

Twinkling as phosphenes after a tiring day.
I fear not the darkness, for it has yet to roam,
Live in a state of oblivion with me, today at Dawn
I will be with you and stay forevermore.
Ephemeral happiness will cease to be,
Our hearts may last a thousand years.
